At The Bagger's Tally we believe our products will boost your enthusiasm and ultimately leave you with an eye catching collection of your Munro tally.
The design is flexible, not compelling you to bag every Munro. Proudly display without unsightly gaps!
Welcome to
The Bagger's Tally Ltd.
At The Bagger's Tally collect our detailed magnetic tokens which can be displayed in one of our ice axe handled wooden framed cabinets or display your personal achievement on our eye catching display boards. If you are not an enthusiast then choose the Munro magnets you fondly remember and display them as you wish on their own!
The larger the display the more impressive the collection looks and when it is time to hang up your well trodden boots you will be glad you will have something substantial to reflect on.
As a designer and looking at a 1992 Scottish landscape calendar in the office the mad idea of Munro bagging was suggested. To give up a warm bed early in the morning to head for the hills!
The response was - Great idea, how do we get started? There was no laptops or satellite navigation then but I went on that year to bag 49 Munro's.
On initially cutting my teeth ascending one of my first bags on Section 1 I was meet by a character dressed like he just came out of the Australian bush and in an unmistakable Glaswegian accent he expressed his bitterness of getting no recognition for his efforts. I found him very humorous the seed was planted.
With family commitments and working abroad that seed never got a chance to germinate until I was back in Scotland in 2013. So why only now has it become available in 2021?
I spent a lot of time designing and redesigning and frustrated I accepted another job abroad in 2014. Six years later I came back to Scotland and that seed from 1992 is now well and truly planted.
The Bagger's Tally's intention is to always try to satisfy your expectations and only by meeting you, our customer, face to face in the car parks and at the roadsides can we measure our service.
Taking the same concept and rearranging the design we wish to incorporate the Lake District, Irish and Welsh hills in the future.
